Born in Rockland, ME on March 21, 1917, she was the daughter of Elias and Rose Nassar. She graduated from Central High School in Manchester.
She raised her family in Manchester and lived there before moving to Milford in 1979.
Mrs. Daghir was a member of the Ruth Chapter of Eastern Star and a 50 year communicant of the First Congregational Church in Manchester.
She had a love for life, family, cooking and the Boston Red Sox.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samy S. Daghir and a daughter, Eileen (Daghir) Dark.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes four children, Samy F. Daghir of Manchester, Diana Douglas of North Carolina, Cheryl D. Merrill of Milford, and Gail D. Tremblay and her husband, Denis of Milford; three grandchildren who meant the world to her, Christine Schwab and Debbie Merrill both of Milford, and Sgt. Samy Ross Daghir with the U.S. Marine Corps; four great granddaughters; a sister in law, Victoria Engheben of Manchester; cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother and three sisters.
The funeral was held Wednesday December 5, 2007 at the First Congregational Church, 508 Union St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Rd., Manchester.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
