She was born on October 20, 1932, in Bellows Falls, Vermont and was the daughter of Lionel and Jeanne (DesRuisseaux) LeBlanc. She was a resident of the Manchester area for most of her life.
She attended the Villa Augustina School and later worked at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
Helen was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Columbiettes), the Good Sam Blazers Club and The Litchfield Swingers Square Dance Club.
She loved going camping and dancing but above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Family members include her husband of 55 years Raymond LaCasse of Manchester; a son, Daniel LaCasse and his wife Lisa of Weare, NH; six daughters, Jeannne Picard and her fiance John Plourde of Pembroke; Sandra Hawkins and her husband Bud of Lancaster, MA; Anne Carignan and her husband Mark of Bedford, NH; Christine Little of Manchester; Donna Zylak and her husband James of Goffstown, NH; Louise Turner of Sanford, ME; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Georgette Sienko of Bedford, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Richard Little in 2012.
Services:
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Parish of Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St, Manchester. Private burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Merrimack Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack NH 03045.
