Helen T. Moquin, 89, of Bedford, died October 24, 2012 after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester September 22, 1923 to Joseph and Yvonne (Caron) Gelinas.

She had been a Manchester resident for many years before moving to Bedford in 1959.

Helen graduated from local schools and had worked at the Association Canado Americaine and for the late Atty. Robert C. Laing.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton parish in Bedford. She was also a member of the Carmelite Guild and the Missionary Rosebushes of St. Therese. In addition she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 54, and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Granite State Chapter #2.

She was married to Harry A. Moquin, who died in 1994.

Family members include two brothers, Norman L. Gelinas of Bedford and Fernand G. Gelinas of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three siblings, Marie Ange Biron, Gertrude F. Lavoie, and Andrew E. Gelinas.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
