Helen (Nel) B. Ohlsson

Helen (Nel) B. Ohlsson, 56, of Hooksett, died unexpectedly on April 3, 2023, at her residence.

Born on October 4, 1966 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Carl Ohlsson and Cynthia Earle.

Nel was a graduate of Conval High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University. She enjoyed her career as a financial accountant and was most recently employed by Butler Bus.

Nel enjoyed spending time at the beach and camping with friends. She also relished family cruise vacations.  Most of all, she loved her devoted daughter, Lauren and grandson Avery, who fondly referred to her as "Gia".

Nel touched many lives personally and professionally. She was independent, demure and humble while being compassionate and playful. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Nel is survived by her daughter, Lauren Prive and grandson, Avery Reardon of Hooksett, NH; one sister, Stacy Ohlsson; and one brother, Randy Olson of Denver, Colorado.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and time.  Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
