Helen M. Pieton, 93, of Manchester, passed away January 10, 2018 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center.
She was born in Hooksett on April 19, 1924 to Francis and Mary (Biskup) Pieton. She attended St. Casimir School and graduated from Central High School, both in Manchester. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Helen worked at 7-20-4 Cigar Factory, RSL Distributors and United Cable, all in Manchester for many years. She was a very active communicant of St. Hedwig Church where she was a member of the building committee. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bowling and trips to Foxwoods Casino.
The family includes four nephews, John S. Beserdetsky Jr., Michael Beserdetsky, Richard Beserdetsky and Stephen Beserdetsky; four nieces, Cindy Dwyer, Joanne Ramezanzadeh, Maryann Mathews and Judy Brien.
She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy Radwan and Sophie Beserdetsky.
The family would like to thank the staff of Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center for the loving care they provided to Helen during this past year.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Donald Street, Bedford.
