Helene D. Couture

   Helene D. (Samson) Couture, 87, of Manchester, died May 8, 2024 at the Courville at Manchester after a period of declining health.

   She was born in Manchester on July 7, 1936 to Donias and Jeanne (Marcotte) Samson.   She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

   Helene worked at AIG New Hampshire Insurance Company in Manchester for over 20 years.  She had also worked at Arms Textiles, Manchester Dry Goods and Walmart, all in Manchester.  She was a former communicant of St. Catherine Church, where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister. 

   She enjoyed reading and watching NFL football on Sundays.

   Helene was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Couture in 2006 and two siblings Jeannette Richer and Raymond Samson.

   She is survived by two sons, Roland Couture of Manchester and George Couture of Parker, CO; a brother, Herve Samson and his wife, Helen, of Hooksett; and nieces and nephews.

   SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday (5/13) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday (5/14) at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 267 Webster St., Manchester.  Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
