Henri J. Beauchemin, 93, died December 7, 2010 at his residence in Wilder, VT.
He was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 8, 1917 and was the son of Alfred and Mary (Meehan) Beauchemin. He was formerly of Norfolk, MA, had resided in Wilmot, NH and in Manchester, NH for several years prior to his recent move to Wilder, VT. In addition he spent several years in Florida.
He was a WWII Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Henri worked many years as a District Manager for New England Electric. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid golfer.
He was predeceased by his wife of over 62 years Mary J. (Croke) Beauchemin in April of 2010.
IN HIS LIFE: He leaves three daughters, Arlene Beauchemin of Northborough, MA, Cynthia Christensen of Wilder, VT, and Barbara Budd of Lake Oswego, OR; a son, John Beauchemin of Sturbridge, MA; 8 grandchildren, Sara Smith, Holly Christensen, Katherine Budd, Elizabeth Budd, Abigail Reynolds, Jason Coffey, Ryan Coffey and Natalie Beauchemin; a great-grandchild, Jackson Reynolds; a sister, Helen Briggs and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three children, Paul Beauchemin, Mark Beauchemin and Joan Coffey.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, December 13, 2010 in Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Elm Street Manchester NH.
Urn burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole, MA. at the convenience of the family.
