Henriette G. (Boulanger) Lavallee, 84, of Goffstown died June 14, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in Goffstown on September 30, 1917, she was the daughter of Donat and Marie Louise (Beaudet) Boulanger. She lived in Goffstown most of her life.
Mrs. Lavallee was an accomplished classical musician. She served as a church organist at St. Edmond Church for over 43 years and at several other Manchester parishes, specializing in weddings.
She served as a state department officer of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and was the charter president of the CWV Ladies Auxiliary Capt. Roger Bernard Post 1699 in Pinardville. She was also a member of the CWV Ladies Auxiliary Post 1624.
Mrs. Lavallee was a Lioness at the Pinardville Lions Club for many years. She was a former officer of the NEPCIA Club and a former member of the Goffstown Columbiette Knights of Columbus. She was also a former member of the liturgical board at St. Edmond Church and of the French Prayer Group of St. Marie Church. In addition, she organized and was a former president of the Hillsborough County Home Guild in Goffstown.
The family includes her husband of 62 years, Raoul "Ralph" Lavallee of Goffstown; a son Ralph D. Lavallee of Francestown; two sisters, Estelle Normand of Manchester and Theresa Richard of Spring Hill, FL; two brothers, Donat Boulanger of Spring Hill, FL and Rev. Albert Boulanger of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday June 18, 2002 in St. Edmond Church of the Parish of the Transfiguration, 55 Edmond St., Manchester. After cremation, urn encryptment was in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
