Sister Henriette Paradis, PM (Sister Rose-Emilienne) of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, 495 Mammoth Rd, Manchester, died August 17, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Augusta, Maine, on June 30, 1923, the daughter of Henri L. and Anna (Laflamme) Paradis.
She entered the Order of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, NH in 1942 and made her First Profession in 1945 and Final Profession in 1950.
Sister Henriette was skilled in culinary arts, crafts, and sewing. She exercised her skills in various communities at Cascade, Dover, Hudson, Keene, and Manchester, NH; Coventry, North Providence and Woonsocket in Rhode Island; and also Biddeford, ME. She will be remembered for her dedication, gentleness, and compassion for the sisters in her community as well as all those with whom she was able to serve.
Family members include a sister, Claire Lescarbeau and brother-in-law; nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday August 21, 2006 in the Resurrection Chapel. Burial followed in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
