Henry J. Beliveau, 89, of Bedford, formerly of Manchester, NH, died January 29, 2005 at a local health care facility after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on July 11, 1915, the son of Henry J. and Lucina (Langlois) Beliveau. He was educated in the local schools. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a union carpenter.
He was a former parishioner of St Catherine Church and had most recently been a communicant at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford. He was a member of the Legion of 1000 Men of the Monastery of the Precious Blood.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Yvette R. (Courchesne) Beliveau in 1997.
Members of his family include a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Constance) Lavoie of Bedford; a son, Richard P. Beliveau of Tamarac, FL; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Gagnon of Manchester; nephews and nieces.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Seton Church on Tuesday February 1, 2005. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
