Henry H. Bourassa, 92, of Manchester, died on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, surrounded by loving family and friends at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home.
He was born in Manchester on June 2, 1926 to Alphonsine (Houle) and Euchariste Bourassa, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Henry attended St. Joseph High School before honorably serving in the Army Air Corps. During his career, he worked for the Post Office, Bee Bee Shoe, and Therrien Roofing Company.
He was an avid golfer and was fortunate enough to score 2 holes in one, on at Derryfield Country Club and one at Dustin Country Club. He loved his family and friends, socializing, eating out, playing cards and walking the mall.
He was predeceased by his wife Rachel S. (Provencher) Bourassa and his sons Norman H. Bourassa and Paul E. Bourassa.
He left behind his daughter, Doris I. Marr of Goffstown, Rachel Lambert, lady friend of 15 years, daughters-in-law, Ruth Bourassa and Francine Bourassa, grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer Lafayette and husband Mike, John Bourassa and wife Kelly, Jerry Bourassa and wife Erin, Nicholas Bourassa, Jocelyn Bourassa, Timothy Marr, Gregory Marr and six great grandchildren, Maeve, Grafton, Coralie, Maggay Mae, Kaden and Jack.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament, 14 Elm Street, Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date.
