Henry A. Dufresne, 78, of Manchester died July 19, 2002 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown after a long illness.
Born in Lawrence, MA on March 21, 1924, he was the son of Francois and Laura (Bilodeau) Dufresne. He lived most of his life in Manchester.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Dufresne worked as an engraver with The Union Leader for many years.
The family includes his wife of 53 years, Emma (Gregoire) Dufresne of Manchester; a daughter, Denise Herbert of Manchester; a granddaughter, Kelly Jaime of Manchester; a sister, Violette Plourde of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday July 22, 2002 in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. After cremation, encryptment was in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
