Henry W. Friars

Henry W. Friars, 54, of Manchester died August 13, 2004 at his residence after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Sterling, CT on August 19, 1949, the son of Harold and Norma (Evans) Friars. He was educated in the Sterling school system.

He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Friars had most recently been employed as a sheet metal worker at Pitco Frialator.

Members of his family include his mother, Norma Carrigan of Dayville, CT; His sister, Debra Cote of Plainfield, CT; Step-sister, Marie Turner of Manchester; Step-brothers, Raymond Carrigan of Florida and Arthur Carrigan of Plainfield, CT; nephews and nieces.

There are no calling hours. Urn burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Plainfield, CT at a later date.
