Henry R. Duval, 69, of Goffstown, passed away on September 29, 2017 at Bedford Hills Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Manchester on July 17, 1948, the son of Joseph and Marie (Duhaime) Duval, and he spent all of his life in Goffstown.
He was a graduate of Goffstown High School and Hesser College, and served in the United States Air Force.
Henry worked for Amoskeag Bank for several years. Henry's passion for travel led him to a career at the Manchester Airport. He worked for over 35 years for various airlines and retired from United Airlines in December 2016.
Henry enjoyed traveling the world, especially Europe, with his Airline Friends and Family. He also enjoyed visiting with family and watching his nieces and nephews grow.
Henry was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marie Duval; brothers, Richard L. Duval, and Arthur R. Duval; and sister Arline C. Duval. Henry is survived by his three sisters, Florence I. Frechette of Bury Quebec, Lucy H. Gagnon of Nashua and Diane D. Jobin of Manchester. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Parish of Transfiguration, 305 Kelley Street, Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
