Herve A. Groleau, 78, of Manchester died December 17, 2006 at Elliot Hospital.
Born in Manchester on January 4, 1928, he was the son of Henry and Clara (Langevin) Groleau. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
During World War II he served in the US Army.
Mr. Groleau worked for the Laborers International Union of North America Local 668 for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5260 and was active with the Meals on Wheels program. He was also a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne C. (Tremblay) Groleau in 1995 and by a son, Dennis G. Groleau in 1997.
The family includes three children, David Groleau of Phoenix, AZ, Rick Groleau of Manchester and Denyse Puchacz of Gilford; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday December 21, 2006 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
