Honor M. Fellows

Honor Mogey Fellows, age 70, passed peacefully in her sleep on October 18th, 2023 after a prolonged illness. 

 

Honor was born on January 1st, 1953 in England, the third child to John and Doreen Mogey. Honor moved to the United States at age 7 with her family when her father took up a professorship at Vanderbilt University. She was a bright child and voracious reader who went on to follow her father's footsteps by going into the social sciences. Honor graduated from Boston University with a Masters in Social Work and spent the majority of her life dedicated to helping support children and families through community mental health counseling. In her later years she greatly enjoyed spending time reading, gardening, and playing with her three cats. 

 

Honor is survived by her daughter, Abigail Fellows Couhie, son, Colin John Fellows, and older brother James Mogey. Her family requests that if anyone would like to pay their respects to her memory, they do so by making a donation to the ASPCA in her name.
