Ideo Patry

Ideo Patry, 81, of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Elliot Hospital. He was born on June 7, 1943 in Sherbrooke, Canada to the late Arthur and Eva-Rose (Arsenault) Patry.

Ideo attended school in Courcelles, Canada and moved to Manchester, NH in 1965. Ideo and his wife, Marcelle, were married in 1966 and spent the next 59 years together. He enjoyed playing guitar, loved playing sports (specifically hockey), and most importantly, loved socializing with friends and family. He loved a good joke, laughed a lot, and would always stop to help anyone. He was beloved by all and will be remembered as a kind and giving soul.

Ideo worked at the Presentation of Mary Convent for over 30 years in the maintenance department. He loved his job and all the people he worked with throughout his time there. He was a member of The Legion of 1000 Men at the Precious Blood Monastery.

Ideo is survived by his beloved wife: Marcelle (Goulet) Patry; his three children: Gina Thomson and her husband Mark, Danny Patry and his wife JoAnne and Joyce Lombardo and her husband Vincent; his seven siblings: Serge Patry and his wife Aline, Daniel Patry and his wife Linette, Diane Lessard and her husband Mario, Eloi Patry and his wife Lynne, Lyna Patry and her partner Steve, Jean Guy Patry (Josee) and Julie Patry and her partner, Michel; three grandchildren: Skye, Brooke and Kyle Thomson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son: Neil Patry; and his three siblings: Dorian Patry, Ginette Patry and Marsanne Lachance.

SERVICES: Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm Street in Manchester from 10am – 12pm. A prayer service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
