Inez Broderick 97, lifelong resident of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at St. Teresa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 6,1926 to Omer and Antonia (Dusseault) Labrecque. She attended St. Georges H.S. and Mount ST. Marys College. Inez was a loving and devoted homemaker while, in mid-life, was active in many charitable organizations and politics. Inez was an avid golfer at the Manchester Country Club, bowler, bridge player and just loved raking in the dimes and nickels from her dismayed card playing opponents. She enjoyed traveling and spending her summers enjoying life with family and friends at her cottage at Hampton Beach.
Inez was predeceased by her loving husband of 72 years James “Jim” Broderick, Jr in 2018; daughter Sandra “Sandy” Puzzo in 2016; sister Priscilla Hummell and husband Charles.
Inez is lovingly remembered by her two sons, James V. Broderick III and his life partner, Margaret Loomis of Manchester and Mark Broderick and his wife Robin of Hooksett; three grandchildren, Sara Puzzo and her partner Chris Goodhue of Bow, Zachary Broderick and his wife Molly of Melrose MA, and Maxwell Broderick and his wife Sarah of Hooksett; son-in-law Anthony Puzzo; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at St. Teresa for the compassionate care given to Inez.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Greater New England Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, P.O. Box 289 Canton, MA 02021.
