Irene B. Allyson, 95, of Manchester, died September 11, 2004, at Hanover Hill Health Care Center, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, June 30, 1909, she was the daughter of Evariste and Eugenie (Dufort) Leclerc. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She was a communicant of St. Anne-St. Augustin Parish.
She was accomplished in enameling, weaving, pottery, woodworking, painting and needlework.
Family members include her husband of 67 years, Lucien J. Allyson of Manchester; two daughters, Denise Tremblay of Manchester, and Liane Crawford of Boston, MA; five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday September 27, 2004 at St. Anne-St. Augustin Church. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
