Irene Collette Boulanger, 92, of Manchester died March 28, 2022 after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on June 11, 1929, she was the daughter of David and Rose (Garant) Tetu. She graduated from Manchester High School Central.
Prior to retirement at the age of 84, she had worked for the American Red Cross for over 20 years. Previously, she had worked as the office manager for Security Heel Company for many years.
Irene was a longtime communicant of the former St. Edmond Parish/Parish of the Tranfiguration and had served as a Eucharistic minister, a church greeter, and a member of the Pastoral Council.
She enjoyed traveling, vacations with her family and game night.
She was predeceased by her husband, Camille J. Boulanger, her son, Thomas Joseph Boulanger and her sister, Isabel Goulet.
Family members include her children, Ronald Boulanger and wife Diane (Janelle) of Weare, Denise Henault and husband Scott of Hooksett, Diane Beland and husband Daniel of Bedford, Gerard Boulanger of Manchester, Joanne Clancy and husband Richard of Manchester; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Friday, April 1st from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2nd at 10 am at the Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Alsace and Kelley Streets, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
