She was born in Manchester on June 20, 1924 to Wilfred and Alice (Labonte) Belaski. She graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1942 and lived in Manchester, Washington, DC and Wichita, KS for many years before moving to Bedford in 1990.
Irene was an avid reader and had a good sense of humor. She also enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She was a longtime communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church.
She was married to Richard W. Bruner who died in 2009. She was also predeceased by four siblings, Simone Dietz, Lillian St. Hilaire, Rita Ranfos Cartier and Richard Belaski.
The family includes two siblings, Jules "Joe" Belaski and Helene Levasseur and her husband, Donald, all of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
