Born in Hooksett on June 25, 1908, she was the daughter of Napoleon and Mary (Beauchemin) Belisle.
Mrs. Bussiere worked as a seamstress in the Amoskeag mills many years and retired at age 65.
She enjoyed summers at Hampton Beach, boating on New Hampshire lakes and time spent with her family. Her 100th birthday was celebrated at the Bedford Town Hall with family and friends who traveled from Massachusetts, Florida, New Mexico and Alaska.
She was married to Raymond P. Bussiere who died in 1973.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes three children, Claire Gagnon and her husband, Roger of Manchester, Raymond Bussiere and his wife, Sylvia of Florida, and Ruth Moreau and her husband, Gilbert of Manchester; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.
The family wishes to thank VNA Hospice for the outstanding care they provided to Irene in her final days.
