Irene A. Champagne, 69, of Manchester died March 15, 2016 at a local healthcare facility surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on January 7, 1947, she was the daughter of Rene and Rita (Godbout) Champagne. She attended Sacred Heart grammar school and St. George high school.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed at Portsmouth Regional Hospital for many years. Previously, she had worked at Disogrin Industries and also Eastern Plastics.
Irene will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, niece and cousin who will be missed by all who knew her.
Family members include her sister Doris Lachance of Manchester; one aunt, Laurette Fickett as well as many cousins.
A committal service was held on Monday, March 21, 2016 in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to your local animal shelter.
