Irene (Roy) Chabot, 87, of Manchester, died June 20, 2015 at St. Teresa Health Care Center after a period of declining health.

She was born in Goffstown on February 8, 1928 to Napoleon and Irene (Chouinard) Roy. She lived in the Pinardville section of Goffstown for most of her life and in Ormond by the Sea, FL for 10 years.

Irene worked at the former McQuade's Clothing Store in Manchester for over 30 years, starting as a sales clerk, then a buyer and retiring as a store manager.

She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and enjoyed crocheting and traveling.

The family includes her husband of 67 years, Louis G. Chabot of Manchester; four children, Anita Girard and her husband, Robert, and Denise Paradis and her husband, Steven, all of Goffstown, Louise Spinelli and her husband, Michael, of Manchester and Louis Chabot and his wife, Mary, of Ephrata, PA; six grandchildren, Jennifer Yergeau, Rob Girard, Timothy Paradis, Mark Paradis, Leslie Chabot and Ryan Chabot; five great grandchildren; three siblings, Madeleine Bartlett of Goffstown, Adrien Roy of Manchester and Theresa Reed of Billerica, MA; several cousins and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and three siblings, Gerard Roy, Jean Roy and Marguerite Keller.

The family would like to thank the staffs of St. Teresa Health Care Center and Home Health and Hospice Care in Merrimack for the care they provided for Irene.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
