Irene Lillian Cullerot, 86, of Manchester died Nov. 13th, 2015 after a period of failing health.
Born in Amesbury, MA on March 6th, 1929, Mrs. Cullerot was the daughter of Almanzor and Lea (Hamel) Pare. She was a graduate of Amesbury High School and Notre Dame De Lourdes School of Nursing.
She had worked as an RN and head nurse at Notre Dame Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Dr. Gerard Cullerot, and her second husband Dr. Lester Bienvenu, as well as her brother Paul.
She was an avid bowler, ballroom dancer, golfer and longtime member of the Manchester Country Club who also enjoyed playing the piano. Always active in her community, Mrs. Cullerot was a former President of the Notre Dame Associates, a Cub Scout Den mother, and Chairwoman of the Fly Me to the Moon Dance in 1969. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and was an active parishioner of the former St. George Church. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who cherished time spent with her family.
Family members include her sister, Claire and her husband Gil; her children, Marc and his wife Laurie, Suzanne Izbicki and her husband Michael, Renee Hujar and her husband David, and son Charles; grandchildren include Christopher, Patrick, and Caitlin Cullerot, Lauren and Bryan Hujar, Nicolas Cullerot, and Brandon and Jason Izbicki.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd, Bedford. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
