Irene G. Duchane

Born in Manchester on March 20, 1929, she was the daughter of David and Rose-Anna (Beliveau) Beliveau. She lived many years in both Manchester and Bedford.

Mrs. Duchane worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company, Carol Cable Company and Sylvania Electric for many years. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Francis Douville in 1973, and by her second husband, Stanley Duchane in 1979.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes a daughter, Rose Marie Hodgdon and her husband, Kelly of Bedford; two step daughters, Yvonne Schwatka and her husband, Paul of Sanbornville, and Doris Dobrowolski and her husband, Joseph of Goffstown; two grandchildren, Jason Hodgdon and Shannon Hodgdon both of Bedford; three step grandchildren, Melissa Waltz of Lowell, MA, Brian Schwatka of Bowie, MD and Kevin Hodgdon of Manchester; one step great grandson, Lucas Hodgdon of Manchester; a sister, Rita Lombardo of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday May 20, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
