Irene E. St. Onge

Irene E. St. Onge, 92, of Manchester, died November 12, 2006, at Harborside Healthcare-Northwood in Bedford, after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester, October 7, 1914, and was the daughter of George and Cora (Racette) Gregoire. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

Prior to her retirement she worked in the shoe industry at J.F. McElwain Shoe Co., Evangeline Shoe Co. and Myrna Shoe Co.

She was a communicant of St. Catherine Church.

She leaves a son, Leonard St. Onge and his wife Lynne of Concord; three grandchildren, Cary St. Onge and his wife Darci of Epsom, Kevin St. Onge and his wife Abby of Suncook, and Brian St. Onge and his wife Chantal of Aldie, VA; five great grandchildren, Devin St. Onge and Victoria St. Onge of Epsom, Kaely St. Onge and Colby Nugent of Suncook, and Mason St. Onge of Aldie, VA; two sisters, Emma Dufresne and Bertha Bouchard, both of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Sr. Alice Gregoire, and two brothers, George Gregoire and Henry Gregoire.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday November 15, 2006 at St. Catherine Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
