Irene M. Pichette, 87, of Manchester, died March 8, 2011.
She was born in Manchester, January 23, 1924, to Napoleon and Lydia (Tremblay) Roy.
Irene had worked at the City of Manchester Library for over ten years. She was a member of the Dame de Ste. Anne.
Irene was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, with a great sense of humor. She was a woman who paid attention to her church and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was loved by all for her kindness and generosity. Irene enjoyed her Friday outings with the girls that remained a tradition for many years. She will be missed.
IN HER LIFE:Family members include her 6 children, Celeste and Dennis Bentley, of Barrington, Philip Pichette, and his fiancee, Lori Ann St. Jacques, of Bedford, Daniel and Susan Pichette, of Manchester, Therese and Paul Mackin, of Barrington, Leo and Barbara Pichette, of Manchester, Richard, and his fiancee, Tammy Williams, of Hooksett; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Violet Loiselle, of FL; 2 sisters in-law,Mrs. Norma Roy, of Manchester, Mrs. Blanche Pichette, of Hooksett many loving nieces, nephews, and numerous wonderful and caring friends.
He was predeceased by a son David in 1953, and her husband Bertrand in 2007.
Calling hours at the Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. will be Thursday from 5 to 8 o'clock.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave, Manchester.
Committal prayers were said at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
