Irene M. Shea, 70, of Bedford, died July 6, 2014 at Bel-Air Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester September 3, 1943 the daughter of Lawrence and Jeannette (Forcier) Martel. She lived most of her life in Manchester and had been a Bedford resident the past several years.

She was married to Timothy F. Shea who died in 1994.

Irene had previously worked at State Motors for several years.

She leaves several friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, July 14, 2014 at St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel.
