Irene A. Vanasse

She was born in Manchester on June 7, 1928 to George and Blanche (Fraser) Lafond. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mrs. Vanasse worked at GTE Sylvania in Manchester for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Armand H. Vanasse in 2004, a daughter, Diane Vanasse and a son, Roger Vanasse.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes two sons, Ronald Vanasse and his wife, Virginia, of Manchester and Robert Vanasse and his wife, Barbie, of Deerfield; four grandchildren, Diane Littlewood, Michelle Pasha, Tim Vanasse and Christine Vanasse; two step grandchildren, Lauri Charest and Cathy Charest; 10 great grandchildren, Kaylila, Sarah, Ahmed, Kaden, Tyler, Courtney, Taylor, Paige, Bryson and Kaeden; two brothers, Harold Lafond of Manchester and Victor Lafond of Tilton; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech St., Manchester.
