Isabella H. Lafond

She was born in Manchester on May 28, 1926 and was the daughter of Ignacy and Victoria (Dusza) Koczela. She attended Straw School and graduated from Manchester Central High School, class of 1944.

She was pre-deceased by her three siblings and her former husband, Robert L. Lafond, Sr.

After raising her six children, she worked for 25 years as a Nursing Assistant at the V. A. Hospital.

Family member include her children, Robert L. and his wife Marie of Manchester, Elizabeth Larrabee and her husband Mark of New London, Michael and his wife Gretchen Booth of Bedford, Louise M. Latvis and her husband Steven of Nashua, Lynne M. Paul and her husband Herbert W. of Goffstown, Judith E. Lafond of Manchester; 9 grandchildren, Laura and Matthew Lafond, Eric and Trent Larrabee, Alex, Andrew and Aimee Lafond, John and Stephanie Latvis, 19 nieces and nephews and several cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, August 9, 2008 at St. Catherine Church, Webster St., Manchester.
