J. Frank Crowley, 71, of Bedford died June 25, 2005 at the Catholic Medical Center after a short illness.
Born in Portsmouth, NH, on September 2, 1933, the son of C. Stephen and Ruth (Hargreaves) Crowley.
He was educated in local Portsmouth schools, after graduation he went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1955. He received an air medal.
Mr. Crowley spent 42 years working as a stockbroker. He worked with H.C. Wainwright in Boston, E.F. Hutton in Manchester, and opened the Dean Witter office in Manchester in 1987, which then merged with Morgan Stanley. He retired in 2003.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford, where he served on the finance committee. He was a member of the Algonquin Tennis Club of Hooksett, The Bedford Bluffs, and the Massebesic Yacht Club.
Mr. Crowley was a Director of Irish Educational Development Foundations and in 2001 he was awarded the Medal of St. Patrick for his work, by Cardinal Cornell of Ireland. He was a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre
In his Life: He was devoted to his family which includes his wife of 41 years Suzanne (Byrne) Crowley, of Bedford; a son James Crowley, of Manchester; a daughter, Cristina (Crowley) Campo, and her husband Peter, of FL; 5 grandchildren Kaleigh Crowley, James Crowley, of Manchester, Jackson Campo, Elena Campo, Sean Campo, of FL; 2 sisters Sharon Bryan, of FL, Sally Conlon, of NC; a brother Stephen Crowley, of AR; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday June 29, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford.
Burial was private in Conway NH.
