Sister Jacinta (Viola Boucher), 85, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died April 1, 2012 at St. Joseph Residence, 495 Mammoth Road, Manchester , NH.

She was born in Gardner, MA, December 1, 1926, to Edmond and Sara (Cormier) Boucher.

Sr. Jacinta entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, NH on August 25, 1942 and made her First Profession on July 2, 1945 and her Final Profession of August 15, 1950.

Sister Jacinta was actively involved in community services at Rivier College, Nashua, Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, House of Prayer, New Ipswich and several Convent in Rhode Island. She was a humble, sincere, and unpretentious woman who radiated peaceful joy in her work.

She is survived by a sister Rita Tourigny and brother-in -law of Melbourne, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours at St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd. Manchester, NH will take place Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm. A prayer service will take place will take place at 7:00pm.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Resurrection Chapel, 495 Mammoth Rd.

Burial will take place in the Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
