Jacob R. Chapman, 24, of Bedford, died unexpectedly on September 2, 2016.
He was born in Manchester on May 13, 1992, the son of Richard and MaryAnn (Soucy) Chapman, Jr. Jacob attended John Stark High School in Weare. He was employed with the City of Manchester, Department of Public Works.
Jacob was an amazing musician and was an exceptional guitarist. He had an incredible sense of humor and a heart of gold. He surrounded himself with family and was very protective of those he loved, especially his daughter Kaya. Jacob was extremely spiritual and was passionate about his faith. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Family includes his parents, Richard and MaryAnn Chapman of Bedford; one daughter, Kaya Chapman of Nashua; one sister, Jessica Chapman of Bedford; his grandparents, Theresa Chapman of Bedford, and Maurice Soucy of Goffstown; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Helen Soucy; his grandfather Richard Chapman, Sr.; and uncle Frank Soucy.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Committal prayers followed in Bedford Center Cemetery.
