Jacob R. Rouleau

            Jacob Romeo Rouleau, 91, of Manchester, died March 17, 2024 after a short illness.

            Born in St. Isodore, Canada on December 21, 1932, he was the son of Honore and Marie (Allaire) Rouleau.  He was the youngest of 20 children.  

            Prior to retirement, he had worked for the local carpenter’s union for many years. 

            Jacob enjoyed woodworking, playing cribbage and spending time with his family.

            He was predeceased by his wife, Rachel T. (Scalabrini) Rouleau in 2008, his son, Jean Rouleau in 1977 and daughter, Marie Papp in 2023.  

            Family members include his son, David Rouleau and wife Amanda of Manchester; a son-in-law, Bill Papp of Hooksett; his three grandchildren, Olivia, Ben and Abigail; his brother, Herve Rouleau of St. Isodore, Canada; many nephews, nieces and cousins.  

            Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, Manchester.  Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

            Jacob had requested in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to support research to defeat Cystic Fibrosis at Give Today | Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org)
