She was born in Manchester, February 6, 1925 to Rosaire and Marie (Gareau) Gagnon and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Berger had worked at Bon Ton's for many years. She also worked at Amoskeag Hosiery Mill.
She had been a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for many years.
She was married to Ernest E. Berger, who died in 1986.
Jacqueline enjoyed walking, swimming, bowling, playing cards and ballroom dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves her three children, Peter E. Berger and his wife Mary of Manchester, Celeste Wright and her husband Gary of Hooksett, and Michelle Loulakis and her husband Mark of Nashua; five grandchildren, Shane Berger, Kristen Berger, Cory Wright, Jason Wright and Nicholas Yaroma; several great grandchildren; a close friend, Charles Stewart of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2012 at St. Catherine Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
