Jacqueline M. Demers, 86, of Peabody, MA, died February 8, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Manchester on June 10, 1931, the daughter of Horace and Antoinette (Gauthier) Pariseau. Jacqueline was a graduate of West High School, class of 1949, and attended Hesser College. She worked for many years as a Human Resource Benefits Assistant with Travelers Insurance and later as a Commercial Teller for Citizens Bank.
Jacqueline was very outgoing, soft spoken, kind and caring. Everyone that she encountered, enjoyed being in her presence. She enjoyed time spent traveling, reading, camping and at the beach, but more so time spent with her family. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Family includes one daughter, Patricia Demers of Peabody, MA; two sons, Daniel Demers and wife Tressor of Goffstown, and Paul Demers and wife Debbie of Weare; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Francoise Roux of Portland, ME; and one brother, Jack Pariseau of Goffstown. She was predeceased by one brother, Jean Pariseau.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester, NH. Committal prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH.
