Jacqueline M. Mathon, 75, of Manchester died on December 4, 2021, at Hanover Hill Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Cambridge, MA on April 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Daurie) Crane. She was a graduate of Woodbury High School in Salem and worked as mail room manger at Elliot Hospital for over 20 years before retiring in 2014. She then dedicated her life to caring for her family.
Jacqueline enjoyed playing bingo and knitting. She was a dedicated and hard worker who very much enjoyed her job and coworkers. She loved her family, adored her pets and cared for everyone that was a part of her life. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years in 2007.
Surviving family members include three children, Stephen Mathon of Manchester, Michael Mathon and wife Stefanie of Tucson, AZ, and Catherine Pothier and husband John of Manchester; five grandchildren, Kayla Mathon, Joseph Fitzwater, Shaylee Savoie, Hannah Fitzwater, and Sarah Fitzwater; two great grandchildren, Henry and Harper Mathon; one brother, Paul Crane and wife Linda of MD; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister, Norma Briggs.
Services: Calling hours will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. A graveside committal service will take place at 11 am on Thursday at Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem, NH.
