Jacques E. Martin

Jacques E. Martin, 87, of Manchester, died September 8, 2006, at his home, following a long illness.

Born in Manchester July 27, 1919, and was the son of Arthur and Lucy (Pelletier) Martin.

He was educated in local schools and later served in the United States Army during WWII. For over 30 years he worked for the State of NH as a mechanical instructor at the Youth Development Center, retiring in 1981.

Jacques will be remembered as a good all around craftsman that could fix just about anything.

Family members include his of 64 years, Bertha (Alexander) Martin, of Manchester; 2 grandchildren; a niece. He was predeceased by a son Edmond Martin, in 1980.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Catherine Church Manchester.

Burial took place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
