James "Jimmy the Greek" Athas

James R. “Jimmy The Greek” Athas, 85, of Goffstown, NH died February 24, 2025 after a period of declining health.

 Born in Manchester on August 18, 1939, he was the son of Antonia (Gimas) Athas. 

 Most recently, he had worked as the bartender at the Raphael Club for many years.

 He enjoyed travelling, cruises and the company of his dogs. 

 He is survived by his life companion for the last 30 years, Carol Lapierre of Goffstown; 2 sisters; 3 children, grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces.

 Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
