He was born in Manchester, August 15, 1924 to John J. and Mary (Conway) Bresnahan.
He attended Central High School and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Bresnahan served in the US Army during World War II.
He had worked for the City of Manchester in the parking meter department for 35 years.
He was a member of the Derryfield Country Club, the American Legion Sweeney Post, and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Church where he was very active in various parish activities.
He loved his work and was an avid golfer.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Lillian (Comeau) Bresnahan of Manchester; a sister, Anna Rose Flaherty of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four siblings, John Bresnahan, Helen Hartung, Mary Sweeney, and Pauline Rafferty.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, August 28, 2009 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
