James "Bama" Campbell, of Manchester, passed away on March 4, 2018, at Elliot Hospital after a long and courageous battle with liver disease.
Born in Atlanta, GA on November 30, 1969, he was the son of Edith Lamar Patterson and James Campbell, Sr.
James was a free spirit, with a heart of gold. He was always willing to help anyone who needed a friend. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving father, brother and friend.
He leaves behind one son, James Campbell, Jr.; four sisters, Teresa Dean, Cindy Jones, Diane Jones, and Sharon Waters; one brother, Andrew Jones; best friend George "Uncle George" Marks; and mother of James, Jr., Amber Lantz.
SERVICES: All services will be held in Alabama, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers or contributions, James's wishes were to "do an act of kindness for anyone in need".
