Born in San Pedro, CA on July 25, 1933, he was the son of James and Frances (Markey) Dinwoodie. He lived in Hooksett for many years.
He served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955.
Mr. Dinwoodie graduated from Bentley College. He then became a certified public accountant and worked for Royal Business Forms in Nashua and Alltex in Manchester for many years.
He earned a black belt in Karate and had volunteered at Catholic Medical Center. He enjoyed leather crafts, summers at Totem Pole Park in Ossipee and time spent with his family.
IN HIS LIFE: The family includes his wife of 52 years, Rita D. (Groux) Dinwoodie of Hooksett; four children, Susan Tremblay and her husband, Denis, and Linda Tremblay and her husband, Jack all of Candia, Michael Dinwoodie of Hollis and David Dinwoodie and his wife, Linda of Goffstown; seven grandsons and one great grandson; two sisters, Karen Duclos and Diana Marsh both of Hooksett; a brother in law, Richard M. Groux of Hooksett and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main St., Hooksett. Committal prayers followed at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
