James R. Doucet

d. October 31, 2016

James R. "Jim" Doucet, 52, of Manchester, passed away October 31, 2016 at Elliot Hospital after a long and hard fought two year battle with cancer.
He was born in Manchester on July 6, 1964 to Paul and Linda (Lawrence) Doucet. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Words cannot sum up the impact Jim had on the lives around him. Working in the HVAC industry, he constantly went above and beyond to make sure people were warm and happy in their homes.
Jim will be remembered for being his children's biggest fan and for his countless hours spent working in his yard/garden. He loved fishing and had a passion for sports, including watching his favorite New England teams. He also had an ability to make people laugh with his, sometimes, inappropriate humor.
His family knows he is off exploring and starting a new adventure while keeping an eye on his loving wife of 27 years, Lori; his four children, Joel, Alicia, Ciara and Makenna as well as the son he took in, Chris; his two grandchildren, Emma and Devin and his dog, Eddie. He also leaves behind his father, Paul and his mother, Linda O'Brien; his grandmother, Bertha Lawrence; two brothers and their wives, David and Kelly and Chris and Vicky; nieces and nephews; his step parents, Peggy and Leonard; step brothers, Scott and David and step sister, Donna.
A celebration of Jim's life was held on Saturday November 5, 2016 at the Auburn Pitts, 167 Rockingham Rd., Auburn. Donations for his family may be made at Jim's Go Fund Me page, www.gofundme.com/2q93pfw.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
