James E. Lower, 65, of Manchester, died April 28, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born in Claremont on February 12, 1953 to Edward and Phyllis (Poulin) Lower. He served in the U.S. Navy and lived in Manchester for most of his life.
James was a long-haul truck driver and more recently enjoyed his time as a delivery driver for O'Reilly Auto Parts in Manchester. He enjoyed country music, NASCAR and was an avid Patriots fan.
He was predeceased by his parents and a step-daughter, Brandi Bernard.
The family includes his companion, Christina Chenette of Manchester; two children, Angelena Lower and Robbie Bernard both of Manchester; a grandson, Kaiden; a sister, Julie Fortin of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A cemetery committal service took place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Patrick Cemetery in Newport.
