James F. “Jimmy-Slap” Madden, 59, of Manchester, died on May 22, 2025 at Hanover Hill. He was born in Manchester on April 15, 1966 and was the son of the late William J. "Whiff" and Bridget (Joyce) Madden, Jr.
Jimmy was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing men’s softball, bowling, darts, soccer and playing cribbage. He had a special bond with his friends from AA and Castros. Jimmy was a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was a graduate of Memorial High School.
James is survived by his five siblings, Maureen Madden of Manchester, Kevin P. Madden and wife Gwyn of Manchester, John A. Madden and wife Carol of Manchester and William J. Madden III and significant other Chrisanne Proulx of Manchester; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Madden.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St. in Manchester. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Goffstown.
