Jane A. (Sheridan) Comer, 87, of Manchester, died February 24, 2018 at the Courville at Manchester after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on October 4, 1930 to Philip and Elizabeth (Grady) Sheridan. She earned an associates degree from NH School of Accounting and Commerce and lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Jane worked at the Pastoral Care Office at the Elliot Hospital and at St. Francis of Assisi Church for many years. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf and trips to St. Maarten and Aruba. She was a former member of the Manchester Country Club where she enjoyed dining and dancing with her husband. She especially cherished time spent with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Robert E. Comer in 2001 and three siblings, Mary Scruggs, Louise Sheridan and Philip Sheridan Jr.
The family includes five children, Betty Martello and her husband, John, of Arizona, Michael Comer and Mark Comer and his wife, Chrissy, all of Bedford, Daniel Comer and his husband, Robert O'Hanlon, of Goffstown and John Comer and his husband, Mitch Dahmer, of Ohio; six grandchildren and one great grandson; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Litchfield. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
