Jane K. Kittredge

July 3, 1941 — April 14, 2022

Jane (Kuehn) Kittredge, 80, of Manchester died peacefully at home on April 14, 2022. Jane had been recently diagnosed with small cell cancer and handled her short journey with amazing grace. She chose "quality over quantity" and spent her remaining time being with family and cherished friends.

Jane was born in Manchester on July 3, 1941 to Charles and Alice (Griffith) Kuehn. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. After graduating from Manchester High School West, Jane earned a bachelor's degree from Wheelock College in Boston. She briefly worked as a teacher both at the Jewish Community Center and for the Manchester School District. Most of her working years, however, were spent as an office assistant for Dr. Ralph Asadourian, DDS.

She was an active member of Faith Bridge Church, formerly S. Main St. Congregational Church of Manchester. Over the years, Jane served on numerous committees most notably with time spent as part of the church Council, Women's Guild, leading the Flower Mission and as a deacon. Jane cared deeply for her church family and especially enjoyed the Women's Bible Study group.

Jane was also a part of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She took great pleasure in the activities and friendship shared with her "sisters." She was honored more than once as "Woman of the Year" throughout her 50 plus years of membership.

Her sense of loyalty and devotion to family was unparalleled. Jane is survived by her loving husband, David Kittredge. Together they shared 58 years of marriage. She is also survived by her two children, Douglas C. Kittredge of Westland, MI and Lauren K. Cole and her husband, Jason, of Ypsilanti, MI. Jane has two grandchildren, Emily K. Cole and Alexander K. Cole who she lovingly adored.
