Jane Ann (Piaseczny) Lazar, 78, of Hooksett, NH died December 28, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on March 23, 1943, she was the daughter of Isadore and Anna Piaseczny. She was educated in the local school system and graduated from Manchester Central High School.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as a self-employed hairdresser for many years, as well as Shaw's Supermarket in Hooksett.
Jane's bubbly personality and infectious laugh made Jane the life of the party. She loved to tell and hear a good joke especially if it was a dirty one.
Jane was a beautiful and vibrant woman with the most unusual, gorgeous yellow gold eyes. She always took great pride in her appearance; her blond hair was always styled to perfection. Her favorite color was red, and she loved a good animal print. She was often described as a hot ticket.
Jane loved animals, especially her rottweiler Charlie, her cat Gucci and Sundance the horse. Jane was very supportive and proud of her daughter Catherine and granddaughter Jessica's horse activities. She loved to watch them ride and compete.
Jane also loved to travel. Her and her companion Tim traveled to Aruba often. Jane was ecstatic when she won a trip to Los Angeles to a live Dancing with the Stars show.
Jane enjoyed fishing, boating and snow mobiles. She liked to sew and paint. She made beautiful creative Christmas ornaments and cards with her embroidery machine.
She was on a bowling league at Lakeside lanes. She wasn't the best bowler, but she was the friendliest. If there was a bowling trophy for miss congeniality she would have won.
Jane will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, a fun-loving good person who wasn't afraid to speak her mind.
Thank you to all the dedicated workers at Carlisle and Courville for the wonderful care given Jane during her illness.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Isadore Piaseczny in 2020 and companion Tim Yaroscak in 2017.
Family members include her children, Michael Lazar of Tuscon, AZ, Christine Lazar of Manchester, Catherine Rainville and significant other Jayme Chalogias; five grandchildren, Quinn Razal, Anna Turgeon, Carolann Turgeon, Dennis Turgeon Jr, and Jessica Rainville; her brother, John Piaseczny and wife Nicole of Hooksett; nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind her lifelong loyal friend Eileen Labrecque and close cousin Pamela Thornton.
Funeral services and burial in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford will be announced in the Spring.
