Jane M. Lyons

   Jane M. (Carmichael) Lyons, 78, of Bedford, died September 3, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of declining health.

   She was born in Boston, MA on May 12, 1945 to James and Mildred (Baker) Carmichael.  She grew up in Cambridge, MA and graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School.  She lived in Bedford for many years.

   Family was at the center of Janes’s life.  Time spent with them was cherished. 

   She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Timothy P. Lyons and two siblings, James Carmichael, Jr. and Meme Pitko.

   Jane is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles P. Lyons of Bedford; three children, Charles P. Lyons, Jr. and his wife, Katie, of Plainville, MA, Meghan Anderson and her husband, Thomas, of Bedford and Cortney Reynolds and her husband, Joshua, of Goffstown; five grandchildren, Charlie Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Tommy Anderson, Jr., Josh Reynolds and Tripp Reynolds; a sister, Beverly Blakely of Waltham, MA; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

   SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday (9/7) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  The burial is private and will be at Bedford Center Cemetery in Bedford.
